Maine Pottery Tour



The Maine Pottery Tour is happening on 
April 30th and May 1st!  
Maple Lane Pottery is very excited to 
be participating again this year!  
 Our gallery and studio will be open
from 10-4 pm. Sarturday and Sunday!

Maple Lane Pottery's 28th Annual Holiday Show and Sale!!


Please join us for our Annual Holiday Show and Sale at on November 28th and 29th at Maple Lane Pottery! We will be open from 10-4 both Saturday and Sunday!
  This year we will be joined by special guests - Alex Portela of Hyddraworks, Cari Balbo of Ridge Pond Herbals, Elizabeth Davis of Granite Hill Designs and Bea & Richard Abbott of Forma 550!  We will be serving refreshment and have a fabulous door prize!!

My newest Gallery is The Maine Potters Market in the heart of the Old Port in Portland, Maine!  I am very excited to be part of this amazing group of potters!
  Next Friday in celebration of the new potters, Rebecca Verrill and myself, The Potters Market will be host a welcome reception!  I hope you will be able to stop in for a visit and a bite to eat!

"Kiln loading is a bit like a puzzle" said my Ceramic professor!  "You have to optimize your space!"  These are photos from one of my most recent kiln openings this winter, top, middle and bottom shelves of the kiln!  When making and glazing my pieces I not only think about the design and function but also how they will fit in the kiln!  Sometimes I wonder if I need a bigger kiln?!
